dc.description.abstract | One of the most challenging things a congregation can experience is the resignation of its pastor. It is with this conviction that Geoffrey Kieta writes this paper to help guide those ministers who must step into this difficult situation. Kieta starts by helping his reader understand how Christians respond to a resignation or termination, then he considers what a new minister can do to minister both to individual members and to the church as a whole, and finally, he shares some good things any pastor should consider while deliberating such a call. As Kieta provides some very useful tips on a difficult subject, his reader can truly appreciate is his evangelical heart and pastoral mindset. | en_US |
