The Lord's Word Concerning the Last Things

Abstract

Most people probably do not get out of bed in the morning thinking to themselves, “Today could be the last day of the world.” Gawrisch, however, seeks to heighten our anticipation for the coming of our Lord. Though we are not able to predict when Christ will come, we do know for certain it will take place. Christ even gave his disciples signs to watch for so that they would know they were living in the end times. Through the course of history all of the signs have been fulfilled, but we look forward to Christ’s return with great joy. Gawrisch offers many practical applications of the last things, including applications concerning evolution, millenialism, and humanism.
