dc.description.abstract | The reintroduction of the teaching of the priesthood of all believers offered the church great comfort in the fact that they could go to God’s throne directly without fear or mediator. By God’s grace, through the work of The Great High Priest, who was so different from the Jewish priests, we are given this new office. In this new office we give glory to God through spiritual sacrifices, intercessions, and prayers, as well as the proclamation of blessing. With many Scripture references, particularly from 1 Peter 2, Gawrisch expounds this most biblical teaching. | en_US |
